Our Child Foundation - Christmas covid help for parents in need

A large number of single parents, often with disabled children, who have found themselves on the poverty line in the last six months, continue to turn to the Naše Dítě Foundation. Back in the spring, the foundation offered extraordinary help to parents who had suddenly lost their part-time or full-time jobs due to the coronavirus crisis and were left without money for even the basic necessities for themselves and their children. The Christmas holidays are approaching, and the situation is not much better than it was in the spring; in fact, it's quite the opposite. But every child deserves a lovely Christmas with presents and a festive dinner. The current goal is therefore to help children from socially disadvantaged families and contribute to a happy holiday season with all the trimmings. With a tree, presents, Christmas sweets, carp, potato salad, and most importantly, a smile.

The Naše Dítě Foundation was established on 1 October 1993 as a non-profit organisation with a mission to help children in crisis and difficult life situations. The founder of the foundation is Ing. Zuzana Baudyšová. Throughout its existence, thanks to donors and companies with a sense of social responsibility, the foundation has been able to distribute over 300 million korunas for the benefit of children, answer hundreds of queries on its Legal Aid Helpline, launch numerous awareness campaigns, and contribute to happier endings for many stories of children and their parents.
