Owl City: Ocean Eyes

Music CD The electropop project Owl City quietly topped the US charts with the brilliant hit single "Fireflies". Not only that, it was also the most downloaded single on iTunes and is now starting to get airplay on European radio stations, including those in the Czech Republic. Owl City is the project of 23-year-old Adam Young from Minnesota. On the album "Ocean Eyes", he collaborated mainly with vocalist Matt Thiessen from the band Relient K. Young lists disco, European electropop, and 1980s synthpop among his main influences. Most importantly, however, Young can write hits with catchy choruses that instantly lift your mood. Fresh, dreamy pop for everyone!
