Pábitelé

Pábitelé
Bohumil Hrabal (28.3.1914 - 3.2.1997) - the genius of Czech short prose, who would have turned 100 this year.
Enfant terrible - adored and hated, often misunderstood.
We have prepared a reading of four short stories from the book Pábitelé, which really made the author famous.
However, that was not the real reason why we chose them. The short stories from the Pábitelů have a distinct storyline, dramatic elements and there is humour in them, hyperbole, Outlook, melancholy, Spleen and sentiment, romance and poetics, but also naturalism, all in one little bag. And above all, it is always about the celebration of man, the sacrament of life!
To begin with, we have chosen Bohumil Hrabal's definition of pimps. The individual stories are separated by quotations from readers' morytates (from the book Morytates and Legends) and the conclusion is an excerpt from the story The Magic Flute (from the book November Hurricane).
We present you an almost portrait "Hrabal audiobook".
