Pain and Glory - DVD

Salvador Mallo (Antonio Banderas) is a famous film director. He has enjoyed great success throughout his career, but now his world is falling apart.
His memories take him back to his childhood, to his loving mother (Penélope Cruz), as he tries to recall the burning desire for his first love and the pain of their breakup. Back then, he felt both the ecstasy of life and its suffering.

Oscar-winner Pedro Almodóvar sensitively explores creative crisis and the difficulty of separating the creative process from one's own life.
Antonio Banderas won the Best Actor award for his performance at the Cannes Film Festival.
