Painted traditions and customs

How did the traditions we still observe today come about, and what are their typical features? Journey back in time with us and discover the roots of the social events, holidays and ceremonies we know from the stories of our grandfathers and grandmothers, as well as the customs we now take for granted.
In this book, you will find short stories about more and less well-known folk traditions and customs, accompanied by thematic illustrations and pictures to colour in. The Christmas and Easter sections also include a traditional family recipe for you to try. We will begin our narrative with the January New Year celebrations and end our journey with the most beautiful holidays of the year – Christmas.
