Paradise of dead children

Suicide victims from ideal family backgrounds inexplicably end their lives. Mysterious, almost ritualistic suicides of young people from a diocese begin to multiply in the backdrop of a small German town. Inspector Anna, who is going through a life crisis, is hired by a priest and a church investigator to find out the reason for these acts. Anna is a beautiful, emancipated young woman with a very distant relationship to the Church and sad memories of the loss of her child. He is struggling to overcome the traumas he experienced while serving in the police force, but he is still finding friends and a purpose in his work. Against a backdrop of murky autumn days, tucked away warehouses and the constant threat of danger, the pair move with brave perseverance. Moreover, due to the ambush and the threat to their lives, a fragile bond begins to form between them. Another criminal act of child abuse emerges. What's worse? The trail leads back to the Church. The surprising denouement reveals the shocking context of the manipulated deaths of young people. And in the end, after a series of terrifying experiences without respite, two people find meaning and purity in everything.
