Parish charity Česká Lípa

The mission of the Česká Lípa Parish Charity is to help people in need, danger and need, regardless of their race, nationality, religion or state and political affiliation. Through charitable, social services and humanitarian aid.

The parish charity Česká Lípa has been implementing the following projects for a long time:
- registered social services: Shelters for mothers or fathers with children, Low-threshold facilities for children and young people, Social activation services for families with children,
- other social services: Social car, Charity wardrobes, Social hostel,
- another activities: Center for Foster Families, Social Enterprise, Volunteer Center.

All proceeds will be used for the needs of two shelters. Women come to shelters, mothers with children who find themselves in a life situation that they cannot solve on their own. For the most part, these are women from domestic violence who have to leave their place of residence mostly from day to day and come to the ADJ in secret with basic things. They are also women who grew up in an orphanage and have no or non-functioning family background. Due to the fact that they lived in institutional care, they cannot function independently, solve everyday life situations and move in ordinary society. They are also low-income women who do not have access to housing other than asylum. It is difficult to increase your income due to the care of young children or their health. These are often mothers with very low intellect, up to the limit of mental retardation. Sometimes they are also illiterate mothers. The last important group are women who did not grow up in a stimulating environment, on the contrary, they grew up with parents who themselves had problems with addictive substances or alcohol, and these women had a terrible childhood.

The main goal of the asylum house are independent clients aiming at integration into society.
