Pathology

The second revised edition of the successful textbook is intended for students of master and bachelor studies at medical faculties. The scope follows the current curriculum for teaching pathology for this type of study. It is particularly suitable for nursing and dental students. The presented texts with pictorial documentation can serve students especially in gaining an overview of individual pathological lesions, quick orientation in nomenclature and for repetition. With some limitations, the text can also be used by post-secondary students. The material discussed does not (and cannot) cover the entire scope of the field. Its aim is to introduce students to the basic concepts of general pathology, newer examination methods, new classification of pathological processes, current classifications and the most important nosological units of special pathology.
