Pavel Hare: Pustina / DG307 (CD+DVD) - CD

The Wasteland originally saw the light of day as a theatre production at the Studio Hrdinů, directed by Miroslav Bambušek (premiere 6 October 2014). An integral part of each performance was the live music of DG 307, which accompanied each performance.? At the time when the release was approaching, Guerilla Records had the idea to capture its form on "filmstrip". Miroslav Bambušek (who had already released the film Jan Hus - Mass for Three Dead Men on Guerilla Records) took over the direction again, but at the very beginning of the shooting Zajíček fell seriously ill and could no longer participate in person. Nevertheless, by using unconventional methods (especially the use of accompanying film projections), a musical component and the avant-garde eye of the director, the recording of the production was completed. Please note that this is not a "mere" filming of the play, but a transcription of a theatrical performance in its own right. As in the film, three dramatic components are intertwined: live music, film screenings and acting events. These three components support and influence each other, creating a specific form at the border of film, concert and theatre.
