Pekař: První kapelní - CD

The album's title came from the fact that it is the first album released together in the band's new line-up. It's the first album to break from the mould of previous ones, both in content and design. The band decided to change recording studios and ended up in the hands of Rony Janeček, which is clearly noticeable in the sound quality. Pekař and co. have included a sequel to the hit from the first album—Tančím 2, the track Mašina, which describes band life, the song Já zprávu mám, which is about a society leading a materialistic life, and other new tracks, adding several previously released singles.

Singer-songwriter Pekař debuted in 2016 with the album #Pekař and immediately deservedly won the Discovery of the Year award in the Český slavík Mattoni popularity poll, also taking home the Discovery of the Year title from the Evropa 2 Music Awards. Among the biggest hits he has written are Bůh, Tančím, and Dokud mám. He followed up the success of his debut with his second studio album, Výpověď.
