The year is 1945 and the war has just ended. Claire Randall, a former British war nurse, is on her honeymoon with her husband Frank. As the place of their honeymoon, they choose a picturesque Scottish village entwined with ancient legends and myths. Frank finds traces here that lead him to his ancestor, Captain Jonathan Randal, who was the commander of the English military base Fort William in the middle of the 18th century.
During one of the walks, Clair finds himself two hundred years back after being touched by mysterious menhirs, to the time of Captain Jonathan “Black Jack“ Randall, when the Stuarts' efforts to reclaim the Scottish throne culminate and Scottish family clans are drawn into battle. The heartless, bloodthirsty and harsh Jack is the exact opposite of Frank from 1945.
Claire is forced to marry a Scot named Jamie Fraser under severe circumstances, but her heart longs for two other men living in two different time dimensions - twentieth-century Frank and eighteenth Jack.

FOREIGNER - 4th series (2018)
The story of Claire and Jamie Fraser, who are trying to find a new home in colonial America, continues in the fourth series of the Alien series.
The Frasers are settling in North Carolina at a time of further historic upheaval - at the beginning of the American Revolution - and must build a loyal relationship with the current British ruling class. This is despite the fact that Claire knows what a bloody uprising she is heading for. A chance encounter with the infamous pirate and smuggler Stephen Bonnet becomes a fatal curse for the entire Fraser family.
