Pet Shop Boys: Very - LP

As part of their 'Catalogue: 1985-2012' campaign, the synth-pop duo Pet Shop Boys are revisiting all the studio albums they released on the Parlophone label. The definitive edition of each record offers the newly remastered original content, expanded with bonus tracks, alternative versions, remixes, and demos created during the album's recording period. Each item in the campaign has been meticulously edited by the musicians themselves. In these new versions, fans will find rare archival photographs and commentary from both members on each song. The album 'Very' from September 1993 is the group's fifth studio album. The record, which includes one of the duo's most successful singles, 'Go West', has sold over five million copies worldwide. 'Very' is now available in a remastered and expanded 2CD version, as well as on LP.

Legends of dance and electropop music. The British duo rose to fame in the late eighties, releasing their first albums 'Please' (1986) and 'Actually' (1987) with hits like 'It's A Sin', 'West End Girls', 'Rent' and 'Suburbia'. Pet Shop Boys are one of the most influential English groups of the late twentieth century, with a wide range of musicians citing them as an influence. They have collaborated with David Bowie, Robbie Williams, Kylie Minogue, Blur, Liza Minnelli, and Dusty Springfield, and were part of the successful project Electronic. Their strength has always been their intelligent lyrics, which have never shied away from social themes. To date, Neil Tennant and Chris Lowe have sold over 50 million records, received numerous accolades including a Brit Award for Outstanding Contribution to Music, and have been nominated for several Grammy Awards.
