Petr Pýcha: Gasoline Dehtov

A black comedy about life through play and the game of life. Petr Pýcha took second place with his text Benzín Dehtov in the dramatic competition for an original radio play announced by Czech Radio on the occasion of its ninetieth anniversary. The story of four guys on the cusp of forty, whose own immature adulthood sets them up for a wild adventure. Robert, Karlos, Arny and Komár don't meet under the most rosy circumstances - their work and relationships are not going well, some of them are short of money, others are short of vitality. And yet, not so long ago, they had no shortage of excitement and would not have questioned the meaning of their own existence. Everything was going great until one night they arrived at the Dehtov gas station. The nighttime adventure has turned into a nightmare - a shadow that follows them wherever they go. And they have no idea that this is just the beginning of a series of sudden twists, unexpected encounters and crazy actions. The central four were played by Václav Neužil, Ondřej Vetchý, Hynek Čermák and Martin Myšička, while other characters were brought to life by Oldřich Kaiser, Pavla Beretová and Lukáš Hlavić.
