Pipes & Pints: Found and Lost - LP

Punk rock bands, which use bagpipes in their music as an instrument equivalent to others, can be counted on the fingers of one hand. Pipes And Pints are one of them, and they are among the most distinctive. In their work you can feel a sharp dose of punk, the basic pillar in honest rock and roll, melody, aggression and the opinion of hardcore editing. Now they are coming up with their second album Found And Lost, released by Supraphon (for domestic fans) and People Like You (for fans abroad).

Pipes And Pints are the sixth year in the world. Vojta Kalina and guitarist Tomáš Novotný were present at their birth. Later they were joined by drummer Lukáš Vincour, bassist Ondra Balvín and singer Syco Mike, an American who considered returning from Austria to California and in 2008 moved with his dog Tequila to Prague. The debut album Until We Die was released in 2009. The band toured the whole of Western Europe (except the Nordic countries, Luxembourg and Portugal), a part of its eastern part played in Russia.

Bagpipes as an instrument have only one octave of nine tones. This in itself restricts the creation of Pipes And Pipes songs and they even thought that there would be fewer songs with this instrument on the new album. In the end, there is only one (Blackhearted), in the others there are bagpipes. The album was created in the Sun studio and contains eleven songs. Its producer is the American Darian Rundall, who worked on albums such as Pennywise, Suicidal Tendencies, U. WITH. Bombs and others.
