Playful ceramics

Creating pottery involves modelling, firing, glazing, and firing again. This publication will guide you through eleven projects using various pottery techniques, showing you the step-by-step procedures and how to work with different types of clay. Modelling is a creative process of endless discovery. It develops manual dexterity, fine motor skills, and improves concentration. It is also a calming and therapeutic activity, where the creative process of working with clay—which has been with humanity since the dawn of its history yet remains appealing and relevant today—becomes the goal itself.
