Plenty of time to die
Cybrain is a half-biological giant computer. Connecting a human brain by temporarily renting it then makes it a supercomputer. Everything works until the protagonist involuntarily appears among the "connected". And if it dies in cyberspace, it will die in the real world. He has no choice but to try to get back to his normal life. On the road to freedom, however, lurk the remnants of mutant software chains personified as killer cyborgs, bloodthirsty monsters and deadly anti-virus policemen... Petr Heteša (1959) was in the nineties together with Karel Veverka, Jan Poláček and Jiří W. Procházkou is one of the leading representatives of Czech cyberpunk. He collaborated with the former, among others, on the novel Networks, Canals and Sewers (1989) and the collection Těšíme se na vás! /Bruster (1991). He now focuses on action novels, combining fantasy with detective fiction (Six Diamonds, 2007; Demons are Eternal, 2009, etc. ). Plenty of Time to Die is the first installment of the retro-cyberpunk tetralogy Cybrain.
