Under one roof

A summer on the ranch full of secrets and unexpected love

Abigail takes a summer job on a ranch in Ashbourne, hoping to finally get her life in order, which is falling apart faster than her mother's relationships. She needs a break, some distance, and peace and quiet. Her plans definitely do not include Gideon Coltrane – a grumpy sheriff with zero tolerance for change. However, even though Gideon is a walking pain in the arse, sparks fly between them more than they would have expected after their first meeting. Abigail quickly settles in at the ranch and makes new friends. In her new surroundings, she tries to resolve issues from her past as well as the personal challenges she faces. And to top it all off, Abigail starts receiving strange messages and has the growing feeling that someone is watching her. Her “peaceful summer” quickly turns into a series of unexpected events. And while the past presses in on her from all sides, the present finds a way straight to her heart.
