POE

Chills allowed. The master of horror, Edgar Allan Poe, was so masterful at telling terrifying stories that we feel a chill down our spine after just a few sentences. The collection contains a selection of short stories that rank among the best: The Pit and the Pendulum, The Black Cat, Berenice, Medallion and others. People have always liked to be scared, and in the warmth and safety of their homes, they let themselves be haunted by scary stories. Ten shorter stories from the pen of Edgar Allan Poe can scare really well and get under the skin even today. Poe is such a great storyteller, that the listener sometimes gets the impression as if he were in a cell himself, where the pendulum is supposed to kill him, as in the most famous story of the whole set, The Pit and the Pendulum, or in Prince Prospero's fortified fortress, where the Red Death came to visit. We will experience the disintegration of the personality of the mysterious Berenice and the suffering and revenge of Pluto the cat, we will enter an abandoned castle in the Apennines in the short story "The Medallion" and we will meet the Method of Dr. Ter and Professor Per. We will also feel the tingling around the stomach in the other stories of the collection. But don't worry, the writer will release you to safety again after a safe dose of fear and suspense. Isn't it?
