Poet Silence: Kind of on the Clouds - CD

A poet whose last collection of poetry achieved the status of one of the best-selling books of 2019.
But hearing him "live" is an even greater experience!
A poet who has been performing poetry publicly for decades; without a lot of protege, but with the audience's sustained interest, which is a solid performance today. The recording lightly covers a period of about a quarter of a century of creation, the poet is concentrated, dynamic, as sensitive and precise as a Swiss metronome, far from lukewarm nosiness, dry mentoring and suspicious over-talking. Pre-sensed doses of excellent literary expression, linguistic invention, transcendent belonging, of mystical urgency, the lyrical whirlwind of a legendary heartthrob and exclusive silence promise, that the listener won't get bored even after several listens; the selected texts and their performance suggest that there will be much to discover and remember.
The contribution of the CD is the musical side. The playing of Tomáš Braun and Jiří Vacl Střevlík is not just a mere accompaniment, but a supporting quality in its own right. Ticho himself wrote about it that if he had always had such musicians, he would have won at least the Port a long time ago; if it turns out that the text doesn't work for some reason, at least there will be something to listen to, he added after another drink.
