Moving feast
Hemingway's memoirs, in which he recalls the 1920s in Paris, where writers and bohemians gathered in cafés. The book was published posthumously in 1964. The author's memoir evocatively captures the atmosphere of the city in the 1920s and includes portraits of a number of art world figures, including Francis Scott Fitzgerald, James Joyce, and Ezra Pound. Hemingway began writing the work in 1957 in Cuba; is the book of a man who, in a time of growing inner crisis, looks back to the years when he was brimming with life and writing vigour.
