Pokáč: Vlasy - CD

Pokáč's debut album features both familiar tracks and brand new songs.

The album was recorded with producer and musician Honza Balcárek (Johny Rainbow / Light and Love). It has a very simple sound based on acoustic guitar and vocals, occasionally complemented by backing vocals and percussion. The exception is "Vymlácený entry", which seemingly doesn't belong on an acoustic record, but it was Pokáč's first single that brought him to public attention. Three songs on the album are presented in their live versions. The final bonus track is a song that Pokáč wrote together with his fans.

Pokáč, whose real name is Jan Pokorný, was until recently known primarily for his collaboration with the singer-songwriter Voxel. He has recently established himself as a singer-songwriter, although he self-deprecatingly describes his style as "a failed attempt at folk, or rather an unsuccessful attempt at music". His work to date proves that this is clearly an exaggeration. So far, he has only released demo recordings, but all of them have found their fans.
