Polednice - Blu-ray

After many years, Eliška and her young daughter return to her husband's home village to try and make a new start. However, in addition to a warm welcome from the neighbours, she also encounters a local eccentric, a woman who carries the weight of her own past tragedy in her disturbed mind.
Exposed to the trauma of loneliness and gradually worn down by her battle with endless bureaucratic stereotypes, Eliška finds a web of curses slowly being woven around her. Will Eliška manage to save herself and her daughter from the mysterious evil before she is completely consumed by the shadow of the Midday Witch, or her own madness?
