Portugal. The Man: Evil Friends CLR

LP Record A blast from the past: it’s almost exactly a year since PTM frontman John Gourley found himself in New York on Danger Mouse's doorstep in the spring of 2012. With a total of six studio albums in six years, non-stop touring around the globe, including a famous tour supporting The Black Keys, and stops at renowned festivals like Coachella, Bonnaroo, and Lollapalooza – up until that point, Portugal. The Man had been the walking embodiment of DIY rock. But when they finally started work on their seventh album, Gourley came to the only logical conclusion: that the most successful and artistically satisfying work would still be good old-fashioned collaboration.
