Pospisil Lubos & 5P: Live! Ostrava - CD

The long-awaited concert recording by Luboš Pospíšil & 5P

A successful song repertoire from the last four decades or so, now captured on stage with the current variant of the band 5P. As one of the few plus or minus seventies, Pospíšil managed to permanently connect his unique tenor and quality songs with musicians up to two generations younger.

Numerous performances show that fresh arrangements, instrumental and singing competence and unpretentious zeal of Pája Táboříková (drums, singing), Ondřej Fencl (keyboards, singing, band-master), Mirka Linharta (electric guitars, vocals) and Martin Štec (bass, singing) things are fundamentally beneficial.
Luboš' s logical main role as a singer, guitarist and composer is not complemented by an anonymous “company“, but a welcome vital group. In addition to well-thought-out new forms of popular songs, the sovereign choral singing is also worth noting, where triple voices are not the final station. Also important is the fact that Pospíšil ' s classics (Petřina, Skoumal, Kantor, Šrut etc. ) is purposefully supplemented on the stage with compositions from the last three studio albums, mostly created in this group.

In the Parník club in Ostrava, a total of 16 recordings were made at two concerts, then edited and prepared for release, reaching a footage of eighty minutes. Vít Beneš' s mixing and mastering necessarily was technically successful, but it completely preserved the stage energy and authenticity. A pleasant evening with music full of hits, created without harmful pressure on a commercial saw. The CD includes a twenty-page booklet with dozens of photographs, attractively showing everything described above and complementing what has been listened to.
