Post Bellum

It documents the memories of witnesses of the events of the 20th century. They founded the largest, publicly accessible collection of memories in Europe - the Memory of the Nation. Thousands of witnesses interviewed. He tries to tell their stories to the public in an engaging way. They educate primary, secondary and university pupils and students and we help teachers. He tries to tell stories in an engaging way - in radio and television programs, in books, comics, on the Internet and in mobile applications. It also organizes exhibitions and operates permanent meeting places with our past: Institutes of the Memory of the Nation. It all combines the belief that the present is co-created by the past and that the experience of our parents and grandparents with totalitarian regimes can help us to better and more effectively protect our freedom and democracy today.
