Coffee Tales XI.

In previous years, Hana Hrabáková successfully published ten volumes of her “Stories with Coffee” series, and this year she returns with another instalment of this short story collection. The author addresses readers with a comprehensive set of humorous texts literally taken “from life”. The subtitle of this latest short story book, “How to Survive Life’s Sweet Traps”, hints at what the plots of the individual stories will revolve around. Together, we will realise what a strong temptation sweets of all kinds can be for women of a mature age, what recipes exist for overcoming these temptations – and, or: how it is sometimes easier to simply give in to the sweet temptation and enjoy life to the full. It must be added that this time, too, humour, exaggeration and often relentless irony play the main role. Hana Hrabáková knows what she is writing about – after all, she has simply put a perfect literary spin on what her readers have experienced and continue to experience themselves.
