Practical communication in medicine

The book is intended primarily for medical students, doctors and nurses in clinical and outpatient practice, but also for all those interested in good and effective communication. It is based consistently on the psychology of personality, on the knowledge of the inimitability of each individual, and therefore models of behaviour in the different situations that life presents us cannot be strictly established. It emphasizes education and overall cultural outlook. It provides basic information on the manifestations of non-verbal communication, about verbal communication (spoken and written), on the principles of public speaking (lectures, Reference, contact with the patient's wider social environment), on the rules of communication with physically and mentally disabled patients and with foreigners. It respects the literature known in our country, but emphasizes its foreign provenance, and thus limited adoption and mechanical transfer to our cultural environment and traditionally created customs.
