Presley Elvis: The King And Colonel Parker - LP

In the summer of 2022, the new film "Elvis" was released in theaters. An event that fans around the world have been eagerly awaiting since the project was first announced in 2014.
The film tells the fairytale story of a young Elvis Presley, who rises from bitterly poor circumstances to become a 20th century superstar. The relationship between Elvis and his manager, Colonel Tom Parker, played by Oscar winner Tom Hanks, is the focus.
This wild but most successful partnership in music history also sets the stage for The King And Colonel Parker album.

The album includes Elvis' first songs from Sun Records and all the big hits from King's early career after Colonel Tom Parker negotiated a gigantic deal with the RCA label and Elvis was bought out of his ongoing contract. Colonel Parker was also the first music manager to have the idea of marketing singles specifically through movies. So Love Me Tender as the lead single for Elvis' first film of the same name became not only one of his biggest successes and evergreens, but also the blueprint for Elvis' career.
The Colonel was also a pioneer in the field of merchandise. Even in the young King's first year of success (1956), Elvis merchandise grossed a whopping $22 million.
