Prince: Originals (2x LP) - LP

A collection of fifteen previously unreleased songs by the American musician Prince. This is a selection of songs from the period between 1981 and 1991, chosen by music manager and impresario Troy Carter in collaboration with the administrators of Prince's estate, which includes the rapper Jay-Z.
Prince originally wrote some of the songs for other artists, some of whom became stars in the 1980s thanks to him, including the singer Sheila E.
The album also includes Prince's own rendition of the song Nothing Compares 2 U, originally written in 1985 for the group The Family, but which became famous mainly thanks to the 1990 version by Irish singer Sinéad O'Connor.

Prince is one of the most distinctive figures in world pop music. He was nominated for a Grammy Award many times, and received it seven times. In 2004, he was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. He is considered one of the most hardworking and productive musicians of recent decades.
