The case of the Prague beast

Prague, May 1945. The streets are a battleground for freedom. And someone is committing murder.

A woman's mutilated body is found on one of Prague's barricades. In the final days of the war, with death lurking around every corner, another casualty would surprise no one. But this woman wasn't killed in the fighting. She fell victim to a brutal murderer.

German Criminal Inspector Hans Wagner knows his time in Prague is running out. Yet he refuses to let the case go. He turns to the only person he believes can find the killer – his former classmate, an ex-policeman and private detective, Márty Kramer.

As the Uprising shakes Prague and the old world collapses in a matter of days, Kramer begins his hunt for a person who finds the perfect cover in the all-encompassing chaos.

Because the war may be ending. But the killer isn't finished yet.
