Production and Operations Management

The book deals with two interrelated management topics, namely product and operational management. In preparing the texts, the authors have attempted to capture all relevant themes of opinion, especially methods and approaches to successful development and implementation of product and operations management. From a historical perspective, the authors examine how these approaches have emerged and been used in practice, highlighting which approaches, techniques and methods have been outdated and which are active today.

The publication is intended not only for students of bachelor and master programmes in economics and management, but also for a wide audience of practitioners.
