Is the old legend of the mountain guides about a supernatural force dropping people into the depths just a scary rumour, or does it contain a grain of truth?
A former climber suffering from a panic fear of heights stumbles upon a legend about a rock platform in the Tatras, where an unknown force forces people who stray there to jump into a chasm and kill themselves. The unusual number of fatal accidents in the area has left him sleepless. He starts his own investigation, but the facts he uncovers are beyond human imagination and understanding. He will pay a heavy price for his curiosity - he will find himself on the edge of the abyss.
The Abyss is another mystery thriller from the pen of Jozef Karika, author of Strach, Trhlina, Tma or Smršt'.
