Pub in Prague

Julie Caplin

Julie Caplin is the pseudonym of the British author of the bestselling Romantic Escapes series. She is addicted to travel and good food. She is constantly trying to track down the perfect gin and is unhealthily picky when it comes to glasses, tonic, and garnish. In between gin tastings, she wrote her first novel, The Little Café in Copenhagen, which launched her international success. As a PR director, she spent several years travelling around Europe, taking the best food and drink journalists on press trips (so-called work trips) to experience the culinary delights in various cities around the world. And it was these places that became the inspiration for her other books, which were published in this order: The Little Café in Copenhagen, The Little Brooklyn Bakery, The Little Paris Patisserie, The Secret Cove in Croatia, The Northern Lights Lodge, The Little Teashop in Tokyo, The Little Swiss Ski Chalet, The Little Irish Village, The Christmas Castle in Scotland, and The French Chateau (the novels are also available as audiobooks). Her latest is the new release, The Italian Villa. She has visited the Czech Republic several times and was charmed by Prague on that occasion, which is why her upcoming book will be set right here.
