Punch Brothers: Hell On Church Street - LP

On the album, the Punch Brothers pay homage to the late bluegrass great Tony Rice by reinterpreting recordings from his album Church Street Blues. These are covers of songs by Bob Dylan, Norman Blake, Jimmie Rodgers, Hamilton Camp, Gordon Lightfoot and others.

The Punch Brothers are a band of skilled musicians: Chris Thile (mandolin), Gabe Witcher (fiddle), Noam Pikelny (banjo), Chris Eldridge (guitar) and Paul Kowert (bass). The group's work is on the border between modern classical music and bluegrass.
