Radůza: Angels from Heaven - CD

The first serial album of the original singer Radůza was recorded in the years 2000-2001. It consists of a total of 16 songs. The author of all the songs is Radůza, with the exception of four, which she composed with Zuzana Navarová. They also sing the first song together, then Zuzana Navarová sings the song Stands a Stone, she stands solo. The singer, multi-instrumentalist and author of music and lyrics started with a predominantly blues-coloured repertoire on the street, where she was discovered in 1993 by Zuzana Navarová. In May of the same year, she was already on the stage of the Prague Lantern as a frontman of the American singer Suzanne Vega. Then began her collaboration with the group Nerez, which lasted almost two seasons. In 1996, she performed as a guest of the Marsyas group and collaborated with Michal Pavlíček and the Abraxas group. In the summer of 1999, she was the frontman of the Prague concert of Mike Oldfield. In her distinctive poetics, it seems as if the listener sometimes touched the legacy of Bohumil Hrabal, Václav Koubek, Dáša Voňková or Hana Hegerová. It is an extremely distinctive mixture of rough rawness, inner longing and a special kind of tenderness. Whether accompanied by piano, accordion or guitar, it goes to the bone of the secret, which is usually called life, in its music and text reflections.
