Rain Buddy - DVD

In a story that could be described as a Czech take on The Sting, a young waiter, Michal, finds himself in trouble when the day's takings he was supposed to deposit at the bank are stolen from him. As he's on probation, he knows no one will believe his story. He asks his friend, a taxi driver named Tomáš, for help. Tomáš borrows the money from a dangerous black-market dealer, Adamec.

By pure chance, the two friends discover that Michal's colleague, Kadlec, and his son-in-law, a garage owner named Bureš who deals in stolen cars, were behind the robbery. With the help of Michal's girlfriend, Magda, they devise a sting operation to punish the black-market boss and the two seemingly upstanding villains, Kadlec and Bureš, and hand them over to the police with the evidence.
