Rammstein

Rammstein is a German industrial metal band formed in January 1994. The band members come from the former GDR. They are considered to be the main representatives of the Neue Deutsche Härte musical style, with elements of electronic music. Most of the band's lyrics are in German, but their last four albums also feature other languages to a small extent (English, French, Russian, Italian, with one song entirely in Spanish).

Peter Wicke (born 1951 in Zwickau) is a German musicologist who has taken a particular interest in popular music; he taught as a university professor at the Humboldt University of Berlin. His book on Rammstein deals with their provocations, harsh sound, stage show with extreme pyrotechnics, and amazing music videos.
