Rammstein: Rammstein: Paris (Special Edition, 2017) (2x CD + DVD) - CD + DV - CD + DVD

Rammstein will release the concert film RAMMSTEIN in May: PARIS!

After the German band Rammstein released their concert film RAMMSTEIN last week with great success: PARIS in forty-six countries around the world, has announced the release of this concert recording on DVD, Blu-Ray, CD and vinyl! We will see it in stores from 19. May.

The band' s tour for the Made In Germany 1995-2011 album, which the band embarked on in November 2011, was its largest project to date. There were 78 concerts in Europe and 21 in North America, and the band also took an expensive steel stage structure, which was 24 meters wide and 15 meters high. The whole was complemented by a hundred speakers, a sound system with an output of 380,000 watts, 25 trucks and a 125-member team that was in charge of everything.

Whoever planned to make a film about such a tour had to think as big as the band itself. This is also the main reason why the production of the RAMMSTEIN concert film: PARIS lasted a good five years. He was taken care of by the acclaimed Swedish director Jonas Ĺkerlund, who is known for his controversial music videos for Metallica, The Prodigy, the Rolling Stones or the band Rammstein . He decided to record both concerts from March 2012, which the band played in the Palais Omnisports arena in Paris. The film, which was created as a result, brings a total of twenty-two concert songs with a total footage of 128 minutes and a new, radical commitment of the band members throughout the show, so fans can look forward to the most professional visual and musical experience to date.

“We recorded both concerts in Paris with a total of thirty cameras. Thanks to that, we had a total of sixty angles. In addition, we took detailed shots of individual members during the generals. So you can imagine how much material eventually came together. What was created is a complete show by the band Rammstein, but I worked on it precisely step by step - just like I do with a three-minute video. And the amount of energy expended corresponded to that. With the help of a huge team of editors, it took us a good year to finish the editing work, ” states the director himself.
