Raw - DVD

Justine comes from a vegetarian family. At sixteen, she leaves to attend the same veterinary school as her older sister. During a hazing ritual, she is forced to eat raw meat for the first time in her life. This experience changes her fundamentally, awakening a sleeping monster within the fragile girl.

With her juicy coming-of-age drama of sexual awakening, Julia Ducournau confidently follows in the footsteps of the master of body horror, David Cronenberg. Her feature-length debut had critics, audiences, and festival juries on the edge of their seats.
