Red Hot Chili Peppers: The Getaway - CD

The eleventh studio album is the first record since 1989 not to be produced by Rick Rubin. This time, the famous Californian band teamed up with the duo Danger Mouse/Nigel Godrich. The former produced the album (previously Norah Jones, U2, Gorillaz), while the latter mixed it (previously Radiohead, Paul McCartney, Beck). The record is being released on CD and LP.

Red Hot Chili Peppers are one of the most important rock bands of both the old and new millennium. They formed in 1983 in Los Angeles. Initially, they combined rock with funk, leaning towards punk rock and psychedelic rock. The 1991 album Blood Sugar Sex Magik, produced by Rick Rubin, was a turning point for them, bringing the band its first significant commercial success. To date, Red Hot Chili Peppers have sold over 80 million records and won six Grammy Awards.
