Reed: P + P - CD

Petr Rákosník' s album alias Rákosse called P + P is out. The album alternates with atmospheric tracks, as if describing guitar solos from Young' s soundtrack Dead Man and melodic pop deconstructive songs with the dynamics of radio hits. The environment of imaginary conversations, wishes and dreams appears in Petra Kupcová' s minimalist texts. Rákosse' s atypical musical approach fills the songs with lyrical naivety and chopped beats of a drum machine. He creates melodic songs with an intimate atmosphere by the method of layering, frequent alternation of guitar effects and filters. Petra Kupcová' s relaxed velvet vocals are layered on top of all this. Their collaboration on various music projects (Enola Joy, Slide Escape) has lasted for 15 years and right now it' s time to listen to their first album.
