Refore: Built to Nothing - LP

If you haven't heard REFORE, you should expect pure aggressive thrash in a compact unit, not lacking in attack, emphasis and drive, where despite the great love for Slayer, there is no lack of a sense of catchiness and melody, without REFORE losing intensity and drive. Although firmly anchored in thrash foundations and filling their sharp ammunition with killer, precisely targeted riffs, the Wallachians write good and understandable songs, with the occasional acoustic guitar or looser passage with an almost heavy touch. Each time, however, the songs are filled to the brim with wildness, which is kept at bay and reliably guided by the inflated rhythmic.

REFORE are a great hope of domestic thrash, which skillfully takes from both European and American branches of this traditional genre. The band, which has never let up in its concert activity, has already released a successful debut, the successor of which is already in full preparation. This young band from the Zlín region was formed in 2015 and from the very beginning they took a strong liking to playing live, which helped them to win the GM Recording Studio recording competition three years later. However, it was only with the arrival of a new drummer and second guitarist in late 2018 that the quartet of guitarist and vocalist Franta Tkadlec became unstoppable, confirming this with their debut album "Built to Nothing" in March 2021.
