Regions of the future - cooperation, security, efficiency

This unique publication focuses on the management of regions and the cooperation of all stakeholders with the aim of improving the quality of life in regions and increasing their competitiveness: It presents methods for assessing quality of life indicators in the region. It focuses on the involvement of stakeholders in the development of regions, the so-called "regional development". stakeholders management, and its impact on the development of smart regions. It draws attention to the threats arising from the misalignment of the strategies of actors in the region. It presents the possibilities of financial resources for the implementation of smart projects (including PPP) and gives recommendations for the development of smart regions.
The publication is based on, among others. from the findings of the unique Smart Region research in the Czech Republic (at NUTS 3 level) and qualitative research on what regions will look like in the future.
