Regrettes: Further Joy - CD

The third album of the American band. A number of recent albums were made in a period of uncertainty and fear. The group therefore conceived it as a guide to living. It is a joyful soundtrack to an ordinary life, an imaginary guide to getting rid of pain.

The four-piece band from Los Angeles draws inspiration from a variety of musical styles and eras. The basis of her work is punk and lo-fi rock, but you can also find traces of pop of the 50s and 60s, bands and artists like the Temptations or Buddy Holly. The Regrettes are often compared to Karen O, Kate Nash or Courtney Barnett. They are fronted by vocalist Lydia Night, who is joined by guitarist Genessa Gariano, bassist Sage Nicole and the only male element, drummer Maxx Morando.

Year of publication: 2022 (3. album)
