Regulation in medical physiology

The publication with more than 340 colour diagrams is intended for medical students, doctors in undergraduate training, but it can also be used by budding natural scientists, veterinarians and students of non-medical medical disciplines. The publication can be used independently and as a supplement to physiology textbooks.

The diagrams in the book are supplemented by a summary text. The individual diagrams describe complex control circuits using simplified block feedback circuits to help understand the regulatory processes in the body responsible for maintaining a stable internal environment. Regulation is the undisputed basis of all modern physiology.

The book is actually a textbook of physiology, but it presents the material from a slightly different point of view – The individual physiological processes are not described, but the diagrams explain how they are controlled.
