Retired – An insignificant event

The power of instinct. The fifth case in the series with the old-school detective.

Arnošt Milota, alias Arno, is a retired detective. But it seems that investigating crimes is his destiny. After leaving active service, he returns to his home village and solves cases with an approach typical of an old-school investigator. No drones, forensic analyses, computer models or shootouts... just common sense, experience and a perfect understanding of human nature. When a car and a former car thief disappear in the remote village of Lhota, it doesn't look like a big mystery. Or does it?
