Rheumatology explanatory dictionary

The publication contains an overview of terms and definitions in clinical rheumatology. It is an alphabetical arrangement of selected nosological units from the group of musculoskeletal diseases, important laboratory data with special attention to immunological parameters, which are important in the nosographic delineation of selected rheumatic diseases. The general principles of pharmacological treatment in these diseases are also given. The dictionary also includes individual diseases in the field of mineral metabolism and metabolic osteopathies, basic issues of rheumatology and general entries in the field of physical medicine and rehabilitation, including functional assessment systems. The dictionary of leading Slovak experts, which is not yet available in this form in our or Slovak literature, contains almost 900 specialist entries.
