River - DVD

The mayor's son Pavel is a true child of nature. She loves the forest, the river and her classmate Pepi, who is from a poor family and has never had shoes. Pavel knows that there is an old pike in the pool by the river, for which the hotelier has put a bounty of 200 crowns, which could buy Pepinka shoes and a blouse. The pike does catch on Pavel's rod and he fights it fiercely, during which his clothes float away. His clothes are found by the rafters and the whole village, thinking that Paul has drowned, goes to the river with their perches.
