But Leon catches her attention so much that she decides to invite him to her home. However, several weeks pass before the meeting takes place. Blindfolded, he is taken to his lover's house, where they spend the night together. However, the condition of the meeting is that the lovers never meet again after the meeting, although they have fathered a child together. When a beautiful stranger sends him half of a ring as a sign that she has just given birth to their daughter, Leon is deeply unhappy and volunteers for war. Badly wounded, he finds himself in the Countess's castle, unaware that she is his unknown masked lover.
Blue Veil
The ways of love are mysterious. Robert Holan, who fell in love with a beautiful girl on the roof of the Radiopalace, experienced this first-hand. However, he has no idea that he has a twin brother, so he has to face unpredictable situations before he finally understands how things really are.
Thanks to the excellent music, cinematography and acting, the film was highly acclaimed in 1941. Vlasta Matulová showed her great acting skills in the double role of twin sisters, who are indistinguishable in appearance but completely different in character. The film also has documentary value, taking place in a radio environment. And so we can see the excellent Czech cellist Ladislav Zelenka, the F. O. K. and the well-known conductor Otakar Pařík.
