Rose from the Caucasus

A coming-of-age novel for girls by a Russian author about love, courage and friendship. After her mother's death, the Georgian Princess Nina is raised by her father and her family, who give her freedom and do not restrict her with conventions. She is therefore shocked when she has to start attending a selective school and finds it very difficult to come to terms with its strict rules. The text is based on a translation by Mária Klimová from the 1950s.
